Guild Positions

Ambassadors are skilled evangelists for pilgrims seeking to undo their knots as well as skilled storytellers able to lead the Beauty, Freedom, and Enlightenment tours at the Shrine . This position will receive advanced training in the Shrine Tours, Byzantine and Roman Catholic practices, and how to evangelize knots. Ambassadors commit to serve at the Shrine for five Saturdays and to undergo the training mentioned above on the approved training calendar. In addition, Ambassadors commit to undergo a one day training in the Called and Gifted program as scheduled on the Guild calendar each year at a location in Tucson arranged by the Guild Director.

Guardians are skilled in the art of communication and can anticipate the need to provide visitors and pilgrims with appropriate guidance so as to ensure the Rules of Reverence are followed at the Shrine. This position will receive advanced training in the art of conflict resolution and Safety procedures at the Shrine. Guardians commit to serve at the Shrine for five Saturdays and to undergo the training mentioned above on the approved training calendar. In addition, Guardians commit to undergo a one day training in the Called and Gifted program as scheduled on the Guild calendar each year at a location in Tucson arranged by the Guild Director.

Intercessors are the heart of the Shrine's Mission to undo the knots of our pilgrims. Intercessors commit to saying a rosary for a person whose first name they are given every Sunday by the Guild Director for five weeks during the time the Shrine is open. Intercessors commit to undergo a one day training in the Called and Gifted program as scheduled on the Guild calendar each year at a location in Tucson arranged by the Guild Director.
